Domestic Violence and The Past

  There comes a time in every writer's life where they have to get real and rather candid. Being a writer is being an artist with words and as an artist, one must be open to sharing a part of themselves from time to time.

   I was inspired by a video I saw on Upworthy and while I gave a brief synopsis of my experience with the subject I felt that telling my story at length was the right thing to do as well as the lessons learned.

Marriage and Honour

Today, I watched something that made me think about a topic near and dear to my heart: Our nation's troops and veterans and the ladies who have "loved" them.

At this point, one might wonder why I put quotes around loved but there is a rhyme to my reason.

What I was watching earlier today was a story about a double amputee vet who after being injured and medically discharged from the military, had his wife leave him.
